Referral Request Process.
Hessington Health is delighted to offer its patients this web based form to request a referral to see a Specialist or any diagnostic procedures. Currently in the UK, a referral letter from your GP is required to see a Consultant at any private hospital. Its common knowledge that patients are often frustrated by the difficulty in getting an appointment with their NHS GP, in order to get the referral they require to see the Specialist. This service set up by Hessington Health illuminates this frustration. Please note our terms and conditions.

If you know the name of the Consultant and the hospital of your choice please enter it. We can make a recommendation if required.The referral application will be followed by a 10-15 minute telephone consultation with our
Doctor to confirm the appropriateness of the referral.
It is your responsibility to ensure your private insurer is happy to accept a telephone triage referral. Failure to do so may result in unnecessary hospital costs for which we will not take responsibility
The fee for this service is £50, payable by bank transfer within 2 working days, at which time the referral letter will be released.
We anticipate a 48 hour turnaround for the referral letter in most cases.
